Hike the Inca Trail

The Inca Trail Experience

More than 7,000 feet above sea level in the Andes Mountains, Machu Picchu is the most visited tourist destination in Peru and has been a staple of the trips offered by Under30Experiences.

Usually we get there by train but on this trip, we hike there with local guides!

A symbol of the Incan Empire and built around 1450AD, Machu Picchu was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and was named one of the seven wonders of the world in 2007.

Witnessing this sacred site is amazing and on our other Machu Picchu trip, but hiking & camping through the sacred valley of Peru to reach it is transformative

Trust me. I made the trek this summer, and to say that it was incredible is a severe understatement.

Hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

The hike through the Andes Mountains to the Amazon basin was a pilgrimage and important trade route for hundreds of years by the ancient Incans.

The trail was eventually burned to prevent discovery and Machu Picchu was never found by the Spanish Conquistadors. Only recently was this historic gem re-discovered in 1911 by the famous Explorer Hiram Bingham.

That's where we are taking you.

Will ‍it challenge you physically, mentally, emotionally, and who knows how many other ways? Yes.

Will it be worth it? ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY.

If you’ve been thinking about it, now is the perfect time to make it happen. Permits are becoming more and more difficult to obtain, and it will never be more affordable than it is right now.

Take it from me - do yourself a favor and invest in the adventure of a lifetime - an adventure that will make you want to put away your camera and soak it all in.

You won't regret it - unless you’re not into epic adventures, life changing experiences, making amazing new friends, and personal growth. If that's the case, this isn’t for you.

Come hike and camp through the sacred valley of Peru with us for 4 days & 3 nights as we journey to the 7th Wonder of the World, Machu Picchu.
