Slow travel emphasizes immersive, mindful, and sustainable experiences over rushing through tourist hotspots. It’s about quality over quantity, and connecting deeply with the people and places you visit.

O‍ur trips spend less time in cities and more time at farm-stays, eco-lodges, and boutique hotels.

As young people, our vacation days are limited, so take time to slow down and get to know a place!

Spend more time in fewer places. Many of our slow travel trips stay at the same hotel the entire trip! We'll engage with communities, enjoy spontaneous experiences, and avoid over-scheduling each day. We take our groups off-the-beaten-path to help combat overtourism!

Stay local

Say goodbye to big hotels and resorts. We’re all about cozy farm-stays, eco-lodges, and boutique gems that give you the true local vibe. Stay somewhere special, not someplace generic!

Domestic flights? Not on our watch! Many "tours" have you flying all over, packing and unpacking in a new hotel every night. These are chill journeys designed to maximize your time outside and minimize your time traveling between destinations.

What are your groups like?

Our groups are full of people who don't want to wait until their old to see the world! Most of our travelers are from the United States and Canada, looking for trips between five and eleven days. Our trips have varying activity levels, nightlife options, and cultural experiences. You can browse all of our trip locations here.

Can I book alone?

Of course, that's the point! 80% of our travelers come solo and join our groups without knowing anyone! You can also come with a significant other, friend, or anything weird in between! :)

What If I'm over 30 years old?

Under30Experiences is designed for people ages 21-35, but if you feel like you fit in a few years outside that range, or have been traveling with us for a while, you are more than welcome.

We also have a product line called Over30Experiences for people in their 30s and 40s and all those trips are on sale too!

Can I meet U30X travelers before I go?

If you'd like to meet people who've traveled with Under30Experiences or Over30Experiences, feel free to stop by one of our local meetups in a city near you!

If you want to know who's on your trip before you book, our team would be happy to tell you a breakdown of ages, genders, and cities of people on a trip you are considering.

After you book, 30 days before the trip we set up a WhatsApp Group so you can connect with fellow group members and get hyped for your trip!

How do deposits work?

A $195 deposit secures your spot, with the remaining balance due 60 days before your trip. We'll simply send you an invoice via email that you can pay via all major credit cards.
