he Under30Experiences Terms of Service ("Terms") is a legal agreement between you and Shadow Concepts LLC, d/b/a Under30Experiences ("Under30Experiences," "we," "us," or "our") that governs your interaction on Under30Experiences.com (the "Site") and your purchases and use of products and services made available through the Site. The term "you" refers to the customer visiting the Site and/or booking a reservation through us on the Site or through our service providers. By accessing or using the Site, making any reservation on the Site, or contacting any of our service providers to make a reservation, you agree that the Terms then in force shall apply. If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not use or book any reservations through the Site or our service providers.
We have the right to change the Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to our Under30Experiences website. For material changes affecting existing bookings, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected travelers. Your continued use of Under30Experiences after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Under30Experiences also reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to decline future bookings, cancel pending reservations, or restrict future participation based on a traveler's conduct, communications, safety concerns, rule violations, operational concerns, or documented patterns. To preserve the safety, local relationships, and group dynamics of our travel community, Under30Experiences retains sole discretion over booking acceptances and is not required to provide a reason or explanation for any such decision. Under30Experiences will exercise this discretion in accordance with applicable law and not on the basis of protected characteristics.
Privacy
By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to and acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy, which is available here: Privacy Policy.
Prohibited Activities
The content and information on the Site (including, but not limited to, price and availability of travel services) as well as the infrastructure used to provide such content and information, is proprietary to us. While you may make limited use of travel itinerary and related documents for travel or service reservations booked through the Site, you agree not to otherwise modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell or re-sell any information, software, products, or services obtained from or through the Site. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SITES
The Site may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by parties other than Under30Experiences. Such hyperlinks are provided for your reference only. We do not control such websites and are not responsible for their contents or the privacy or other practices of such websites. Further, it is up to you to take precautions to ensure that whatever links you select or software you download (whether from this Site or other websites) is free of such items as viruses, worms, trojan horses, defects and other items of a destructive nature. Our inclusion of hyperlinks to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.
SERVICE PROVIDER TERMS
Service providers may require you to agree to additional terms and conditions in connection with the products and services you purchase from them. Please read all additional terms and conditions carefully. You agree to abide by all additional terms and restrictions, including without limitation, availability, age and occupancy requirements, pet policies, policies on children, fares and other restrictions. You agree that any violation of any such terms and/or restrictions may result in cancellation of your reservation, forfeiture of costs and expenses in connection with your reservation, and being charged by Under30Experiences for any costs we incur as a result of such violation.
Participants Responsibility
You understand and acknowledge that Under30Experiences does not represent or act as an agent for, and cannot control the acts or omissions of, any host institution, host family, transportation carrier, hotel, tour organizer, or other provider of goods or services. Under30Experiences is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of Service Providers except to the extent such responsibility cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.
You understand and acknowledge that Under30Experiences assumes no responsibility or liability, in whole or in part, for: any delayed or changed departure or arrival times; fare changes, dishonors of hotel, airline, or vehicle rental reservation, missed carrier connections; sickness, disease, injuries (including death), losses, damages, weather, strikes, acts of God, circumstances beyond the control of Under30Experiences, force majeure, war, quarantine, civil unrest, kidnapping, public health risks, criminal activity, terrorism, expense, accident, injuries, or damage to and lost property; bankruptcies of airlines or other service providers; inconveniences, cessation of operations, mechanical defects, failure or negligence of any nature whatsoever caused in connection with any accommodations, restaurant, transportation, or other service or for any substitution of hotels or of common carriers beyond Under30Experiences's control, with or without notice; or for any additional expense occasioned by any of the foregoing. If due to weather, flight schedules, or other uncontrollable factors, you are required to spend additional nights in the destination or another location, Under30Experiences cannot cover these unexpected expenses; travelers must look to their mandatory travel insurance policy for reimbursement regarding weather or flight disruptions. Your baggage and personal property are transported entirely at your risk.
Passports, Visas, and Entry Requirements
Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid passports, visas, entry authorizations, vaccination records, transit documents, and any other documents required for travel. Under30Experiences may provide general destination information, but does not provide legal or immigration advice and is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, quarantine, removal, fines, or trip interruption resulting from a traveler's failure to satisfy travel requirements.
Health, Fitness, and Activity Suitability
Travelers are responsible for determining whether a trip and its activities are appropriate for their health, fitness, mobility, and personal circumstances. Travelers must disclose relevant medical, physical, dietary, mental health, mobility, or other conditions that may affect safe participation or require accommodation. Under30Experiences may decline participation in activities where, in its judgment, participation would create safety or operational risk. Travelers who require accommodations should contact Under30Experiences before booking or as soon as practical so we can evaluate reasonable options based on the trip itinerary, destination, vendors, and safety considerations.
Accommodations and Rooming
Accommodations may involve shared rooms, shared bathrooms, hostels, guesthouses, lodges, camps, or other lodging styles described on the trip page. Rooming requests, roommate preferences, single supplements, and bed configurations are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
Itinerary Changes and Substitutions
Under30Experiences may modify itineraries, accommodations, transportation, activities, routes, guides, or service providers before or during a trip due to weather, safety, availability, local conditions, vendor changes, force majeure, group needs, or operational reasons. Comparable substitutions may be made where practical. Such changes do not entitle travelers to refunds unless required by applicable law.
On-Ground Operational Authority
Travelers agree to comply with the final operational authority of the assigned Trip Leader and local representatives of Under30Experiences and its Service Providers regarding trip logistics, safety decisions, activity participation, and group conduct. Failure to follow Trip Leader instructions may result in removal from the trip without refund and other consequences as described in these Terms. Standards of personal conduct, local law compliance, and assumption of risk during participation are further addressed in the Travel Waiver each participant must sign before the trip begins.
Travel Waiver
All trip participants are required to sign Under30Experiences's Travel Waiver (the "Waiver") before participating in any trip. The Waiver is a separate agreement that addresses assumption of risk, release of liability, indemnification for traveler conduct, photography and media release, dispute resolution, and other matters specific to trip participation. The Waiver is incorporated by reference into these Terms. In the event of conflict between these Terms and the Waiver, the Waiver controls with respect to trip participation matters; these Terms control with respect to booking, payment, cancellation, refunds, site use, and commercial matters.
INCIDENTAL FEES
The purchases made through Under30Experiences do not include incidental expenses, except as specifically described in your itinerary, and you are liable for all such incidental expenses that you incur during, or in anticipation of, your purchased product and/or service. These things may include, but are not limited to: airfare to the destination, lunches, incidental expenses, alcohol, and any entrance or departure fees paid directly by the traveler to local destination authorities.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel Insurance (Mandatory Minimum Coverage)
Travel insurance is a mandatory condition of participation in any Under30Experiences trip. All participants are required to obtain and maintain travel insurance that includes, at a minimum, coverage for medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and repatriation for the duration of the trip.
The minimum required coverage amount is at least 200,000 USD. This amount represents a minimum requirement only and may not be sufficient to cover all circumstances, activities, destinations, or individual needs.
Under30Experiences does not provide insurance advice and makes no representations or warranties regarding the adequacy, scope, or suitability of any insurance policy. Participants are solely responsible for evaluating, selecting, and maintaining insurance coverage appropriate to their personal circumstances.
Coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, delays, or other non-medical losses is strongly recommended but not required, and remains the participant's personal financial decision.
Proof of insurance may be required prior to departure. Failure to obtain or maintain the required insurance coverage may result in denial of participation or removal from the trip without refund. Under30Experiences assumes no responsibility for any costs, losses, or expenses not covered by a participant's insurance policy.
TRAVELER SAFETY / EXPULSION
Under30Experiences and Service Providers from which you purchase products and/or services reserve the right to expel attendees whose statements, acts, or omissions threaten the safety of themselves or others, or disrupt the trip in any way. Under30Experiences retains sole discretion to determine whether expulsion is warranted, regardless of whether a Service Provider elects to act. Expelled attendees will not be entitled to a refund, will be responsible for any costs they must incur as a result of such expulsion, including, without limitation, replacement accommodations and return travel, and may be subject to liability for any harm or damages arising out of their statements, acts, or omissions. You agree and acknowledge that Under30Experiences and Service Providers are not guarantors of attendee conduct and are not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of attendees. Nothing in this section creates a duty to expel any attendee in any particular circumstance. You acknowledge that you will be billed for any damage to hotels and will be held responsible for your actions. You agree to the "General Rules" listed on the Trip Details page of the trip you are purchasing.
Participants may not retaliate against, threaten, harass, intimidate, or attempt to influence any person who raises a concern, makes a report, participates in an incident response, or cooperates with Under30Experiences, a Service Provider, medical provider, insurer, or authority.
Illegal & Prohibited Conduct
Participants agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws while participating in any Under30Experiences trip or activity. Without limiting the foregoing, the following conduct is strictly prohibited:
(a) Sexual exploitation of children or minors, including engaging in, facilitating, or benefiting from any commercial sexual activity involving minors, child sex tourism, trafficking, or related conduct. For purposes of this agreement, a "minor" is any person under the age of eighteen (18), regardless of local age of consent or other local standards.
(b) Any illegal activity, including illegal sexual activity or conduct that exposes others to harm, exploitation, or criminal liability.
(c) Any conduct that could reasonably be interpreted as abusive, exploitative, coercive, or endangering, including conduct directed toward vulnerable individuals or local communities.
(d) Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, hate speech, discrimination, unwanted sexual attention, non-consensual contact, unsafe intoxication, or conduct that materially disrupts the trip or affects the safety, comfort, or participation of others.
Under30Experiences reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to immediately terminate a participant's involvement, remove the participant from a trip without refund, prohibit participation in future Under30Experiences programs, and cooperate with local authorities where required by law in connection with any violation of this section.
Nothing in this section shall be interpreted as an endorsement, encouragement, or facilitation of any sexual activity or commercial sex.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Under30Experiences either owns, or has licensed, all U.S. legal right, title and interest in and to Under30Experiences, including but not limited to, any trademark, copyright, patent, trade secret, trade dress, service marks and other worldwide intellectual property rights as they relate to Under30Experiences (the "Intellectual Property"). These Terms do not grant you any rights with respect to the Intellectual Property.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
The information, software, products and services published on the Site may include inaccuracies or errors, including pricing errors. In particular, we do not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim all liability for any errors or other inaccuracies relating to the information and description of the hotel and other travel products and services displayed on the Site (including, without limitation, the pricing, photographs, list of hotel amenities, general product descriptions, etc.). In addition, we expressly reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the Site and/or pending reservations made under an incorrect price. In the event of a pricing error affecting a confirmed booking, Under30Experiences will notify the affected traveler and offer the option to (a) pay the corrected price or (b) cancel the booking and receive a full refund of amounts paid.
In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to, display of or use of this Site or with the delay or inability to access, display or use the Site (including, but not limited to, any computer viruses, information, software, linked sites, products and services obtained through this Site; or otherwise arising out of the access to, display of or use of the Site) whether based on a theory of negligence, contract, tort, strict liability, consumer protection statutes, or otherwise, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
IF, DESPITE THE LIMITATION ABOVE, WE ARE FOUND LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE WHICH ARISES OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH ANY OF THE OCCURRENCES DESCRIBED ABOVE, THEN OUR LIABILITY WILL IN NO EVENT EXCEED, IN THE AGGREGATE, THE GREATER OF (a) THE SERVICE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH TRANSACTION(S) ON THE SITE, OR (b) ONE-HUNDRED DOLLARS (US$100.00) OR THE EQUIVALENT IN LOCAL CURRENCY.
The limitation of liability reflects the allocation of risk between the parties. The limitations specified in this section will survive and apply even if any limited remedy specified in these Terms is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any consumer protection, deceptive trade practice, refund, warranty, privacy, or other statutory right that cannot be waived under applicable law.
RISKS AND INDEMNITY
You acknowledge and agree that participation in activities, such as adventure travel, involves inherent risks and dangers of accidents, personal and bodily injury (including death) and property loss or damage. You agree that you have considered the nature and extent of the risks involved and voluntarily choose to assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even those risks that result from the negligence of others and assume full responsibility for your participation in such activities.
YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS UNDER30EXPERIENCES, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, service providers and licensors from and against all losses, liabilities, costs (including, without limitation, attorneys' fees and costs on appeal or at trial), damages, judgments, claims, of every kind and nature, to the fullest extent permitted by law, arising from or relating in any way to (i) your use of the Site, (ii) products or services you have purchased through the Site, (iii) your breach of these Terms or the documents referenced herein, or (iv) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH UNDER30EXPERIENCES'S OWN NEGLIGENCE.
This indemnity applies only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and does not require you to indemnify Under30Experiences for liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.
All trip schedules and activities are subject to change before and during the trip.
GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any Under30Experiences trip shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the documents referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Under30Experiences regarding the subject matter.
SUSPENSION OF OPERATIONS
Under30Experiences reserves the right to suspend bookings, cancel pending reservations, or temporarily restrict access to the Site for operational, regulatory, safety, technical, or business needs, subject to any remedies expressly provided in these Terms or required by applicable law.
NOTICE OF INFRINGING MATERIAL
If you believe in good faith that materials hosted by us infringe your copyright, you (or your agent) may send us a written notice that includes the following information. Please note that we will not process your complaint if it is not properly filled out or is incomplete. Any misrepresentations in your notice regarding whether content or activity is infringing may expose you to liability for damages.
Eligibility Reminder:
Reservations for publicly offered trips are only accepted from travelers who meet our eligibility requirements (minimum age 21 at the time of departure). Custom or institutional programs may have separate eligibility requirements as set in the applicable institutional agreement. Any reservation made in violation of the applicable policy may be canceled without refund.
If you change or cancel your booking:
Cancellation and transfer requests are subject to the specific cancellation deadline (typically 30 or 60 days before departure, depending on the trip) stated on the applicable Trip Details page. If you submit a valid cancellation or transfer request before the applicable cancellation deadline stated on the Trip Details page, you may switch your trip one time for free or place your eligible Experience Credits on hold. Cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted by email to bookings@under30experiences.com and confirmed by Under30Experiences. Requests submitted via WhatsApp, social media, chat boxes, or other channels are not valid and will not be processed. Requests received after the applicable cancellation deadline are not eligible for transfer or credit except at Under30Experiences's sole discretion or as required by law.
If you do not receive a confirmation from us your request is not confirmed. Experience credits are valid for TWO years from the date of issue. After two years, the credits are forfeited.
Experience credits have no cash value and are non-refundable under any circumstance.
Experience Credits remain subject to all eligibility requirements, trip-specific terms, expiration dates, cancellation policies, and these Terms. Transfer of a credit does not guarantee acceptance of any future booking.
Experience Credits vs. Gift Cards
Experience Credits issued as a result of trip transfers, cancellations, promotions, goodwill adjustments, or forced trip suspensions are not cash, stored-value gift cards, or gift certificates, and are subject to the expiration and use restrictions stated in these Terms. Any separately purchased Under30Experiences gift card or gift certificate is governed by the terms disclosed at the time of purchase and by applicable gift card laws, which may include minimum expiration periods and other consumer protections that override these Terms with respect to such gift cards.
When transferring trips or dates, your booking will be bound to the latest version of these Terms.
*Please note that some trips have non-refundable permits that we secure on your behalf. In these cases, the permit cost is nontransferable at the time of purchase. Please review the "Trip Details" page of any trip you are looking at for its specific terms.*
*Coupon codes and/or promotional prices are not transferable. You will be responsible for any price difference when transferring to a different trip.*
Refund Policy
Except as expressly provided in the Forced Trip Suspension Policy or otherwise required by applicable law, all payments made for trips, accommodations, and any additional services, including but not limited to single-room supplements, are non-refundable. This policy applies regardless of cancellation by the participant, failure to attend, changes in personal circumstances, or any other reason. By making a payment, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy. In exceptional cases, Under30Experiences may issue refunds at its sole discretion; the existence of any such discretionary refund does not create a right to refund in other cases.
Experience Credits are Giftable
Can't travel with us for the foreseeable future? You can give the gift of travel to your friends and family. Experience Credits are 100% transferable!
Please note that only Experience Credits equivalent to the value of your original payment are transferable. Earned Experience Credits are non-transferrable in all forms. Earned Experience Credits can include but are not limited to our community programs, contests, events, customer service, and other rewards.
Credits can only be used toward unpaid invoices. Refunds will not be given for trips that have already been paid for.
*Gifted credits have no cash value and are not refundable for cash. If Under30Experiences cancels a departure booked with gifted credits, the traveler's remedy is a replacement credit, subject to these Terms. Any departure booked with gifted credits can be canceled and transferred to another departure one time. After that, the credits are forfeited.*
The person receiving gifted or transferred credits is responsible for knowing the credits expiration date. The expiration date is the original date of expiration.
Emergency Cancellation within 30 or 60 days:
To cancel a trip that is not within our cancellation period, please refer to your travel insurance policy.
Your travel insurance may cover reimbursement if you cancel your trip due to a last-minute emergency. You'll need to consult your travel insurance company directly for specific details.
We cannot transfer or hold any credits within the cancellation period of 30 or 60 days before your trip, depending on the trip's cancellation policy.
Forced Trip Suspension Policy
When we are forced to cancel a trip due to situations outside our control, we are unable to issue refunds. In this case, we will offer travelers 100% credit of the price paid for the trip, valid for use toward any future trip.
A "force majeure" event includes but is not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, and pandemics. Under30Experiences cancels trips when there are major disruptions to our itineraries, when local authorities restrict travel, when the US Department of State issues a "Level 4 Do Not Travel Warning" to a country, or when Under30Experiences determines in its reasonable judgment that continuing the trip would create unacceptable safety or operational risk.
Please understand that when you book a trip with us, your money goes directly to vendors abroad who do not offer refunds in these cases. The money is held with them to be used for future travelers; thus, we cannot provide refunds.
Other Cancellation Notes:
Coverage for trip cancellation or interruption is strongly recommended but not required and is the traveler's personal financial decision. If you do not participate in the trip, join it after it has started, or choose to leave before it concludes, you will not receive reimbursement. This includes missed flights, delays, injury, illness, and quarantine due to infectious disease during the trip. In these cases, please consult your travel insurance company to cover expenses.
If you put a deposit down on a trip and do not pay in full by the required date, your deposit will be forfeited and no Experience Credits will be issued, unless you email bookings@under30experiences.com prior to the payment deadline to convert your deposit to an Experience Credit hold or transfer to another trip.
Trip-Specific Terms
Trip-specific pages may include additional terms, including itinerary details, included and excluded services, cancellation deadlines, permit restrictions, physical requirements, accommodation type, passport and visa considerations, accessibility limitations, and destination-specific conditions. Those trip-specific terms are incorporated into these Terms. If a trip-specific waiver, itinerary page, or service-provider term conflicts with these Terms, the more specific term controls for that trip or service, unless otherwise stated.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your payment provider, you agree to first contact Under30Experiences to attempt to resolve the issue. Under30Experiences may provide booking records, cancellation terms, and these Terms in response to chargebacks. Filing a chargeback does not alter the cancellation or refund policy.

The Under30Experiences mobile messaging program (the "Service") is operated by Shadow Concepts LLC, DBA Under30Experiences ("Under30Experiences," "we," "us," or "our").
By opting into the Service, you agree to receive SMS or text messages from or on behalf of Under30Experiences in accordance with these Mobile Messaging Terms ("Mobile Terms"). Your participation in the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes. Your continued participation in the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Mobile Terms.

By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively opting into the Service, you provide express written consent to receive recurring SMS or text messages from Under30Experiences.
Messages may be sent using automated technology or an automatic telephone dialing system where permitted by applicable law.
Your consent to receive SMS messages:
Under30Experiences maintains records of user consent in accordance with applicable messaging regulations.
3. Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with Under30Experiences and participation in promotions or programs.
Under30Experiences does not charge for the Service itself, but message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier plan.
You are responsible for all charges imposed by your mobile carrier.
4. How to Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or by contacting us at info@under30experiences.com with a clear request to stop receiving SMS messages. We will honor opt-out requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
You will receive a one-time confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.
After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS marketing messages unless you opt in again.
Opting out of SMS marketing does not affect non-SMS trip communications, transactional emails, booking-related notices, or operational communications sent through other channels where permitted by law. If you opt out of SMS, Under30Experiences may send trip-related communications through non-SMS channels such as email, WhatsApp, phone, or traveler portals where permitted by law and reasonably necessary for booking or trip operations.

6. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to participate in the SMS messaging program.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.
These age requirements apply to participation in the SMS messaging program only. To book and travel with Under30Experiences, see the Eligibility section of our main Terms of Service.
7. Mobile Number Responsibility
You agree to provide a valid mobile number and to notify us if your number changes.
If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, you should unsubscribe from the Service prior to the number change.
Under30Experiences is not responsible for messages sent to a reassigned or recycled phone number.
8. Changes to Messaging Numbers
Under30Experiences may change the telephone number or short code used to operate the Service at any time.
Messages sent to outdated numbers may not be received and we are not responsible for requests sent to such numbers.
9. Wireless Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and network availability.
