After playing under the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, take the ferry to the breathtaking Vestmannaeyjar Islands in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Hike the historic Eldfell volcano that erupted in 1973.
Visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall, near the base of the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano.
Reach Reynisfjara, the world-famous black sand beach, and admire the beauty of the basalt columns, lava caves, and hear the legend of the trolls turned to stone.
Hop on an Icelandic horse for an optional ride under the dramatic coastal cliffs, or take a scenic hike around the area.
Today, you will venture to the scenic Valley of Thor.
This unique valley is surrounded by three mountain glaciers--Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, and Tindfjallajökull.
You will reach the valley in a Super Jeep equipped to drive on rough terrain & cross Icelandic rivers. Your Trip Leader will take you on short hikes along the way so you can truly experience the beauty of this natural wonder.
Drive along the South Coast and explore Iceland's lunar landscape for a guided ice walk across Sólheimajökull Glacier with some of Iceland's best mountain guides.
In the afternoon, stop at Skógafoss waterfall for a short hike to the top of one of the most beautiful scenery in Iceland. Your Trip Leader will take you to a secret waterfall in the area.
Take part in a tree planting project at a local Icelandic farm that promotes responsible tourism and sustainability. This project contributes to lowering our carbon footprint and reforesting Iceland.
Depart South Iceland in the morning and drive back to Reykjavík.
Enjoy some free time exploring Iceland’s quaint capital city or having lunch before taking included transportation to the airport.
Consider extending your stay in this beautiful country and visiting the Blue Lagoon or spending more time in Reykjavík on your own.
