Trip Overview

Day 1

Arrival in Belize

Welcome to Belize! Your Trip Leader will greet you at the airport, and you'll take included transportation to the jungle town of San Ignacio.

San Ignacio is the heart and soul of the Cayo District, a vibrant traveler center from which all roads and activities fan out. This is the ideal starting point to explore Mayan Ruins and the rainforest.

Arrive at your hotel and settle in for the night.

Day 2

Xunatunitch Mayan Ruins & Cave Tubing

Take a day trip to the interior of Belize. Visit Xunantunich, an Ancient Mayan Ruin filled with mythological folklore.

After visiting the site, go cave tubing down a branch of the Sibun River and enter the underworld with only a headlamp to light your way. Your guide will walk you down the jungle track, pointing out medicinal trees and other flora & fauna.

Take the ferry to Caye Caulker, an island with no cars that lives by the motto "Go Slow." Relax in the turquoise waters at The Split-–the local swimming hole Caye Caulker is famous for.

Day 3

Snorkeling Trip

After a delicious breakfast at a local café, travel by private boat to snorkel the world-famous Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Belize is home to the second-largest barrier reef in the world.

Snorkel with an array of tropical fish, mind-blowing coral formations, and maybe even a manatee or sea turtle. Stop at the Shark and Ray Alley, where you'll swim with harmless nurse sharks and stingrays.

Enjoy the boat ride back to the island while sipping rum punch before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant in Caye Caulker.

Day 4

Caye Caulker

Today, relax back on the beautiful island of Caye Caulker. Rent a bike, enjoy a beachfront massage, or soak in the sun.

In the afternoon, hang out on inner tubes while floating on picture-perfect turquoise waters. Go slow, or find an adventure of your own.

Enjoy your last Caribbean-style dinner. Find a local reggae bar and celebrate with your group who you've come to know this week.

Day 5

Relaxation & Departure

Wake up early to read a book or take in the sea breeze as you say goodbye to your new friends in this Caribbean paradise.

Catch the ferry to Belize City, where you'll meet your driver, who will take you to the airport for your flight back home.

Belize Trip Reviews

"Just came back from Belize on a trip with Under30Experiences, and it was fantastic! We had a great group of 10 people, and an amazing tour guide, Leonardo Diaz. Leo was on the ball and when the weather intervened, had backup plans at the ready. From seeing Mayan ruins and cave tubing, to snorkeling with sharks and seeing Belize's barrier reef, it is safe to say that I had an amazing time with our group, and all Belize had to offer. I am very happy with my decision to come on this trip, and plan on going on another trip with Under30Experiences soon! (Especially as this was my first trip with them!) Thank you, Leo, for your hard work, and Belize is a wonderful country I will be visiting again in the near future!" -Chris B.

"Truly an incredible experience with an amazing group of people. I went to Belize with Under30, and although it was my first trip with Under30 it will certainly not be my last. Our tour guide, Leo, was very knowledgeable, organized, genuine and funny and he taught us so much about his beautiful country. He made this an experience that I will never forget. I loved Belize and wish I could have stayed even longer. Thank you to the inspiring and strong women that went on this trip with me, I now have friends for life." -Grace T.

"This was an astounding experience! I went to Belize with Under30, I chose a trip that would help me face some fears, and I’m so proud of myself for doing that, I had someone in the group that was also facing her own fear, and we really helped each other get through it! The people I’ve met in this group were all amazing in their own beautiful ways. There will be a part of each person I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Our tour guide, Leo was absolutely incredible!! He was proud to show us everything, and tell us every detail there is to know with a smile on his face, and he is so funny! He genuinely cares about our safety and making sure we get the best and full experience we deserve! I plan to go back to Belize, and do another Under30Experience!" -Nicole B.
