I rolled the dice on solo travel with U30X with my first trip to Costa Rica in 2015, and it’s turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. That trip connected me to now very close friends, a community of travelers in NYC, and a sense of clarity in what I wanted my career to be. Many trips later, I continue to grow & gain clarity through experiences and cultural immersions, and even seek out my own adventures more readily now.

My travel addiction started with a love for art history and a study abroad trip in Rome. I realized that travel touched upon my values of adventure, community, and purpose. Since then I have taken countless solo trips and 3 trips with Under30. I love that every trip allows me to learn something new about a new community, city, and space while pushing me to grow.

The thought of solo travel had NEVER entered my mind, but the more I researched the U30X and the trips offered, the more intrigued I became. I found a destination and itinerary that I was most interested in and took a leap of faith. I signed up for my first ever solo trip…Bali! As soon as I landed, I met my trip leader, Angga. He instantly put me at ease by saying he was not just our trip leader but, more importantly, he was our friend. From that moment, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable experience. I spent the next six nights and seven days with nine “strangers” who became instant friends from day one.

Just returned from my second trip with Under30Experiences. My first trip was to the Costa Rica rainforest. My most recent trip was to Iceland. Both trips were such an amazing experience. I loved learning about Iceland and its origins. I enjoy the small groups and I made some great new friends! Recommend them for anyone wanting to travel alone or with a couple of friends.
I was so scared to travel abroad alone and then I came across their website and they made international travel so easy! And the people I’ve met on the trips are some amazing individuals! I’ve done 6 of their trips and plan on continuing to do even more!!
My Hike the Inca Trail trip was beyond amazing, and I couldn't have asked for anything more from a trip. Our leaders made us all feel instantly comfortable, and the group was fantastic. The trip was well planned and the hike was unforgettable. Memories to last a lifetime.
