Plenty of companies will fly you to Costa Rica for less. Here's what you're actually paying for — and why people who travel with us rarely go back to the alternative.
Small enough that you'll know everyone's name by day two. Not a 40-person coach where you're a wristband.
Locally-owned places with character and comfort — not a bunk in a 12-bed dorm. Where you sleep is part of the trip.
We guide the big moments and leave the rest open. No 6am wake-up calls to tick boxes you didn't ask for.
Hotels, activities, ground transport, your leader, and taxes — included. No hidden fees stacking up after you book.
Had an amazing experience in Croatia with trip guide Robert! We did many fun activities and the boat day off of Hvar was my favorite activity! Robert was an excellent guide and he made the trip very fun and relaxing. I learned a lot about the Croatian culture from him. My only critique would be more time in Dubrovnik. We only had one night there and arrived in the middle of the afternoon. Could have skipped the oyster tasting to get more time there. Or perhaps only one night in Hvar so we could get another night in Dubrovnik. Overall great experience!
It is great for people that want to travel at an affordable rate and want to travel with others rather than do the solo thing! It also allows for you to take very minimal time off of work since most trips are over the weekend! I can't recommend this company enough. :) It's an amazing community to be a part of.
I have had the pleasure of traveling with U30X as well as 030X and I can't recommend it enough. If you are on the fence, just do it! It's such an amazing experience to travel with like-minded people from all walks of life that want to just enjoy another culture and country. This company makes travel so simple and you get an experience with a local that you can't easily get on your own. I love traveling on my own as well but sometimes being able to "just go" and not having to think, is a perk in itself. Special shout out to Frano (Croatia - U30X) and Youssef (Morroco - O30X) for being AMAZING trip leaders. Those leaders left me with memories and experiences that I will never forget. I appreciate both of them for showing me their beautiful countries. I look forward to many more experiences and new memories in future trips.

Every departure is led by a dedicated U30X Trip Leader who handles the logistics, brings the group together from day one, and works alongside our trusted local guides on the ground.

Is tipping common in Croatia?
Tipping in Croatia isn’t obligatory, but is most appreciated. It isn’t considered offensive not to leave a tip but is a great way to show gratitude for a job well done.
The jobs for which tipping in Croatia is expected are similar to most other western countries and include waiters, bartenders, tour guides, hotel staff, general services, and housekeepers.
It is also proper etiquette to give small tips to taxi cab drivers, apartment doormen, beach vendors, and parking attendants

Motion sickness medication. If you tend to get seasick, you will want medication for all the ferry rides you will be taking throughout this itinerary.

What type of luggage is best?
The lighter the better! If you only have a rolling suitcase that will work, but if you can get your hands on a more mobile bag, like a large backpack, that would be better. We take all forms of transportation, and loading your suitcase on and off all the ferries can be challenging. You'll also want a daypack for your personal gear, food, and drinks for the day.
What type of food will we be eating in Croatia?
Breakfast will be served at your hotels. Dinners will be in local restaurants serving Croatian cuisine recommended by your local Trip Leader.
During your time on Korcula, you will be staying in local apartments. Breakfasts on those days will either be eaten in your apartment or at a local cafe.
