It always comes back to connection..
Ok, let me back up a bit….
Last week there was a post to the Under30Experiences alumni about gratitude - specifically what are you most grateful for and every single person said something related to the people in their life.
But it went a step further, they talked about their U30X community.
What is the U30X Community?
U30X puts our community at the heart of everything we do. We are an inclusive community focused on bringing like hearted people together to travel the world and connect on a deeper level.
Our community is more than 2,000 people strong all brought together by the common desire to travel and the unique opportunity to connect deeper with others through group travel.
Through these connections, we learn more about ourselves, each other, and the world in a way that's hard to describe.
No, actually its not hard to describe.....because it's life changing.
Why we are grateful for YOU
Each person in our community - whether you’ve traveled with us or joined us at an event or at a local meet-up - is vital to our community.
Each one of you brings with you a story, an experience, and a view on life that is uniquely yours. By sharing that with others, you are breaking down barriers and creating the space for others to open up in an authentic way with.
That right there is connection.
And you know what the most powerful thing about connection is? You have an incredible tribe behind you - rooting for you when you quit or change a job, and there to catch you if things don't quite go as planned.
We hear stories all the time from people overcoming struggles in challenges to making huge monumental leaps to change their lives and how our community supported everyone through it all.
Each one of you reminds us why we do the work we do.
We are continuously in awe and inspired by each of you. And we are humbled that you have chosen us to be part of your story.
While we take people to some of the coolest places on Earth, its truly connection that we strive to build.
And the world needs more of it.
It always comes back to connection
Because without connection what do we really have at the end of the day?
Money? A bunch of stuff? More money to buy more stuff?
But what if the question changed from “how do we get more stuff” to “how do we connect more deeply?”.
Just think about all we could create if we continue to connect...
Maybe its more joy? More understanding and empathy? Or maybe it's as simple as having someone to share a moment with.
One of my favorite quotes ever from Peaceful Dumpling says,
“Shared experience of beauty, the points where we connect with one another, is what makes our lives so exquisite, no matter how ordinary.”
I am beyond grateful to have so many shared experiences of beauty with so many of you - and I can’t wait to continue creating those moments with you in the future.
So, from my deepest source of gratitude, THANK YOU.
Thank you for sharing moments that have forever connected us together.
