¡Bienvenidos a Cuba! Your Trip Leader will meet you at Havana’s José Martí International Airport (HAV) at 11:00 am and take you with the included transportation to your privately owned accommodations, called a "casa particular" in the heart of Havana’s historic center.
Discover Old Havana and ride in classic American cars owned by a local small business owner. As you cruise along the Malecón, you’ll visit iconic landmarks, including Plaza de la Catedral, Plaza Vieja, Plaza de Armas, and the famous Bodeguita del Medio.
Pose for photos with vintage cars and see the rich history, art, and culture all wrapped up into one enchanting Caribbean vibe. Engage with local entrepreneurs at a stained glass workshop, where your money will go directly into the hands of the Cuban people.
Support a small, family-owned restaurant called a "paladar" to enjoy some delicious Cuban cuisine and try a delicious mojito.
Today, depart Havana to explore life outside the city. The day begins with relaxation and at the Bay of Pigs, where the soft white sands and crystal-clear waters invite you to swim. Coral reefs and tropical fish create a mesmerizing underwater paradise, as your local tour guide explains the historical significance of this area.
Then, we’ll take a scenic drive to Cienfuegos, the "Pearl of the South." This charming city features elegant French architecture and a beautiful waterfront.
Finally, end your day in Trinidad, one of Latin America's best-preserved colonial towns. As you stroll its cobblestone streets lined with pastel-colored houses, the lively rhythms of traditional Cuban music will bring this historic town to life.
Enjoy another meal at a locally run "paladar" before spending the night where you'll support a local family who rents out rooms in their beautiful home.
Today, you'll leave the city to explore a natural park, blending Cuba's stunning landscapes with its rich artistic traditions.
Start your day with a hike on the Cimarrones de Javira trail in Parque El Cubano near Trinidad, ending at the Javira Waterfall. This refreshing spot offers a swim in natural pools and social-media-worthy moments amidst the Cuban jungle, combining exercise and scenery.
In the afternoon, visit a Trinidad pottery studio to see a multi-generational craft in action, then relax at a nearby beach with a Mojito or cerveza, soaking up the Caribbean sun. We'll conclude with an open-air dinner featuring Ropa Vieja, celebrating Cuba's vibrant culture.
Depart early for La Havana, where you can spend your final day exploring the city or picking up last-minute souvenirs from local craftspeople.
In the evening, we will visit the Vedado neighborhood of Havana, known for its independently owned cafés, jazz clubs, and art galleries.
Here, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Cuban cigar-rolling experience led by skilled artisans.
Afterward, we will enjoy a delicious closing dinner from another family owned restaurant that showcases the best flavors of Cuban cuisine.
Wake up early to savor your final morning in Havana, reflecting on the connections you’ve made and the moments you’ve shared with the Cuban people. Over one last cup of rich Cuban coffee, take pride in knowing your journey supported local communities and left a lasting impression.
