Chris Christensen is the host of the Amateur Traveler podcast and an avid traveler. The Amateur Traveler is an online travel show that focuses primarily on travel destinations and the best places to travel to. It covers everything from knowing what to put on your Chicago dog when you go to the Windy City to swimming with whales in Tonga. It includes both a weekly audio podcast, twice monthly video podcast and a blog.

This week’s episode focuses on podcasting, full time vs part time travel, and different travel methods.

Chris discusses the benefits of small group tours, the importance of doing your homework when traveling, and figuring out the levels of planning needed for your upcoming trip.

Chris leaves aspiring travel bloggers with the advice, “Content, quality, and consistency are key. Figure out who your audience is and who you audience isn’t.”
