PaleOMG Fitness Retreat in Costa Rica

Group of travelers posing indoors beneath leafy trees, wearing Day of the Dead face paint and floral crowns, with casual clothing and smiling expressions during a cultural experience in Oaxaca.

Hey U30X Community!

What an incredible food + fitness retreat held in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica with the PaleOMG community!

Led by Juli Bauer, awesome human being and creator of PaleOMG, the trip was full of burpees, sweat, sand, local fare, and plenty of relaxation time.

With Juli’s expertise in paleo cooking and leading an overall healthy lifestyle, the retreat centered around getting our bodies moving, learning about Juli’s and the group’s journey through health and fitness, exploring the local market and gym, and connecting with like-minded folks from all over the world.

Our days varied greatly but generally held a common theme of a group workout on the beach in the morning, exploring the local community and beaches during the day, and more than likely squeezing in a second workout in the afternoon. :)

From sandbags, to kettlebells, to barbells, nothing was off-limits in the pursuit of a healthy retreat!

That's what I call a gym with a view!

Through great paleo-friendly fare, a healthy dose of sweat, and countless great conversations, the group left the retreat refreshed, excited, and maybe a little tired.

Thank you to Juli and and all of the U30X alumni that made the PaleOMG retreat a huge success!
